1996 Quality management system was certified in accordance with ISO 9002
1997 Gold and Silver Refinery was started-up
1998 Non-Ferrous Alloys Production was created upon the facilities of the Verkh-Neivinsk Plant
1999 The Copper Wire Rod Plant made a start 2001 “Polymetals Production”, a new division of the “Uralelectromed”, was created based on the “Kirovgrad Metallurgical Company” Closed Joint Stock Company “Raduga” joined АООТ “Uralelectromed”
2002 According to a new Charter of the Company its business legal structure was changed from AOOT to OAO The construction of granular selenium plant was triggered based on Chemical and Metallurgical Production to increase ST-1 selenium output up to 50 tpy
2003 Gas treatment plant of Copper Smelter was constructed JSC “Safyanovskaya med” was incorporated into JSC “Uralelectromed”
2004 JSC “Uralelectromed” received Good Delivery status for silver
2005 Briquetting Plant for agglomeration of copper, gold and recycling materials was put into operation at “Polymetals Production” Hot Dip Galvanizing Plant was started-up. Environmental management system was certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational safety and health management system – for compliance to OHSAS 18001:1999
2006 JSC “Uralelectromed” was included into Good Delivery list for gold
2007 Lead production of Non-Ferrous Alloy Production was renovated to get pure lead
2008-2009 Reconstruction of gas treatment plant at Chemical and Metallurgical Plant
In 2006 we began comprehensive reconstruction of copper refinery facilities including new tank house start-up which is scheduled for 2011. |
