Copper Powders Production |
In May, 1942 a production of copper powder for motor brushes was started on the basis of equipment evacuated from Podolsk. A new copper powder plant was commissioned at the end of 1979.
Copper electrolytic powder is supplied to the consumers and is used by in-house production of powder articles.
The copper powder plant being the only in the country and the biggest in the world produces 30 electrolytic powder brands. It is consumed by Russian and foreign companies of powder metallurgy, machinery and instrument production, aviation and chemical industry. More than 50% of produced powders are exported.
