The European Regulation on Chemicals Management, REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) was enforced in the European Union in 2007 (EC № 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006). The aim is to provide better information throughout the whole supply chain about the effects of substances, and thereby improve protection to human health and the environment from chemical-related risks.
Since 1 December 2008 all chemicals that are produced or imported in the EU in quantities exceeding 1 MT per year must be pre-registered and finally registered at the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki, Finland.
Uralelectromed has successfully performed the pre-registration of substances via its only representative so that substances can be bought and sold without any problems.
