Main concepts of Uralelectromed social policy
Following the centuries-old traditions of the Ural metallurgy, JSC “Uralelectromed” actively implements the active policy of socially responsible business, which includes ensuring of decent wages and salaries, moral and monetary support of personnel in case of difficult life situations, assistance for health care and other social challenges.
Social programs prescribed by the company collective agreement:
1. Material support of personnel in case of emergency and contingency; 2. Health protection, preventive health care and medical treatment for employees and their families; 3. Preservation of cultural heritage and traditions of Russian nations, sponsorship for geniuses and amateur talent groups within the company’s labour collective; 4. Development of physical culture and sports.
In the course of social programs implementation, the company pays much attention to realization of social services.
1,344 employees were consulted, examined and treated in the European medical centre “UMMC-Zdorovie” and other clinics of Ekaterinburg in 2010 according to VHI through the insurance company “UMMC-Medicine”. 295 employees attended the Urals health resorts. Social Insurance Fund appropriated about 8 mln rubles for these purposes.
In Summer 2010 960 children of our employees improved their health in the recreation camp “Selen”, that cost 14 mln rubles. 87 children attended health improvement camps through the Social Protection Administration.
In accordance with the collective agreement, JSC “Uralelectromed” shall:
- Transfer employees to/from their places of work; - Grant short-term paid time off in case of funeral, wedding, delivery of a child, etc.; - Pay monthly benefits for women on leave to care a child up to the age of three years; - Pay monthly allowance for orphans; - Pay aid for ceremonial services, etc.
JSC “Uralelectromed” gives targeted social support to its employees and their families in form of material aid, the New Year presents for children and their health improvement. |
