Expansion of Bachatskiy Coal Deposit

JSC «CC «Kuzbassrazrezugol» (a company of a raw material division of UMMC) has started preparation for construction of the second stage of «Bachatskiy Coal Deposit» branch. The company is going to invest of about 1.7 bln rubles in the Project in 2016-2017.

At present Bachatskiy Coal Deposit has mined the allotted area. Further development of the deposit is limited by the existing motor road and a railway so they are decided to be relocated. Currently the company prepares the project design. «The primary objective of the Project is to keep the existing production level at 9.5 mln. t of coal, - emphasized Sergey Parmonov, Director of «CC «Kuzbassrazrezugol», – The deposit capacity is going to be increased in future».

This year the company is to invest about 300 mln rubles in the project, while construction works being completed in 2017.
