Shortly before the New Year day UMMC has commissioned milestone architecture projects

Just before the New Year 2017 Ural Mining&Metallurgical Company put into place two skyscrapers in the center part of Ekaterinburg, namely 52-storey tower ”Iset” and 33-storey Business Centre “Demidov”.
Iset Tower is the product of many years work of great deal of people who have created a new architectural symbol of city. “It is actually a state-of-the-art building, almost one-of-a kind in terms of architecture, engineering and software”,-mentioned Sergey Erypalov, UMMC Director on Capital Construction and Investments.
TALL BUILDING magazine reporters named 209m Iset Tower the highest north skyscraper. 52 floors hold 225 various premium class apartments (from 80 to 490 square meters). Lower floors host amenities and a 4-level parking. Total area of the tower exceeds 70,000m2. Iset Tower architect is the international architectural and engineering bureau “WERNER SOBEK”. The building is lighted with 3,500 LED lamps arranged for 12 various dynamic light programs. Media façade of the skyscraper was designed and assembled by the companies engaged in the same projects for Olympic Games 2008. The exclusive peculiarity of the complex is the prominent promenade esplanade which covers locked secured area with landscape gardening and the bright children’s playground.
Smart house concept is implemented in Iset Tower. Microclimate of each premise including air temperature and humidity setting, underfloor heating, energy saving mode, is controlled by own intellectual system, which also serves security and energy loads. Iset Tower is equipped with multilevel video surveillance system covering the whole complex area, access control system regulating access of guests and service staff to apartments and public rooms, video communication system, security alarm system.
Proper control and management of the building was one of the most desirable challenges of the developer. Detail guidelines for operation, repair and maintenance of equipment were prepared at the construction stage. Great focus was placed to provision of exclusive service to owners and guests of apartments, including the professional concierge service.
On the other side of the street the Business Centre “Demidov” is located. It is linked with Eltsin Center with a passage. “Demidov” total area is 47,000 square meters. Everything necessary is provided for comfortable arrangement of business processes. The first floors host meeting rooms, transformable conference hall, coffee break areas. Upper floors are meant for offices. 11 Thyssen Krupp elеvators are used. The building façade is composed of aluminum sections and heat strengthened glass with light-reflecting coating outside and energy effective safe glass inside.
